Sam Harris

Sam treats both younger and older adults. He uses his keen observation skills and humanizing approach to promote a mental wellness. Regardless of a persons’ current circumstance or level of functioning, he provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and management. Sam’s military career has helped to shape his practice through a variety of professional experiences in numerous treatment settings.

He is particularly skilled in adult psychopharmacology, adult psychotherapy, combat trauma, amputee rehabilitation, adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, and behavior change. Sam carefully uses medications and various psychotherapy techniques to help relieve symptoms and improve quality of life. Expect a friendly yet focused conversation at your initial visit with more targeted medication adjustments after that.

Dillon McCarvill

People call me Dillon and I happen to be a board-certified, licensed Psychiatric and Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide psychiatric assessment, medication management, and brief-psychotherapy to adults ages 18 to 64. I treat all psychiatric conditions. My specific interests include ADHD, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and overcoming difficult life transitions.

My approach to psychiatric illness is holistic. The human brain and its influence on behavior has always been my greatest academic passion. I know that the body and mind cannot be separated. I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Virginia Tech with dual-degrees in the biological sciences and psychology. While education was a great starting point, life experience quickly revealed that my true passion lies in people. I realized that I am much more interested in how I can be of service to others during times of struggle.

Through many additional years of education and psychiatric nursing experience, I am now here to serve YOU. Your input is invaluable and together we will construct a treatment plan that is agreeable to both of us. One size does not fit all. We will build a therapeutic relationship that is vital to the treatment process. You will never be rushed out the door. There will never be any judgements and there is no such thing as a silly question. If you say it, I’ll do my best to hear you. Life is a journey and I am here to help.

Tannica Ball

Tannica draws upon a wide variety of clinical experiences to provide a comprehensive evaluation of each new patient. She has provided everything from critical care to school nursing during her career. She uses her wide variety of personal experiences to relate to each person who she treats. She also understands common challenges of teens, relationships, military life, and parenthood. While she tailors her approach to each individual, she can often be seen laughing and smiling because she enjoys her work. She is accepting new patients for medication management ages 15 through 64 and is participating with all major insurances.

Olivia Bonanno

Olivia Bonanno is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that graduated from The Ohio State University. She understands that meeting a psychiatric provider for the first time can be a stressful and overwhelming process. She strives to create a safe space for all clients while working together towards symptom recovery through a combination of psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.

Olivia has experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders for ages sixteen and above. She takes a trauma-informed and person-centered approach with her clients. She also has special interests in providing care for perinatal mental health conditions and for those in the LGBTQ+ community. Marci Bowen

Marci Bowen is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner that graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is trained to treat across the lifespan from adolescence through adulthood. She specializes in the holistic bio-psycho-social- spiritual-cultural approach to treating clients. Through collaboration with the client they work to achieve optimal functioning by building the therapeutic alliance and through medication management. Marci believes that she is merely a guide to help clients along their way to recovery and remission. Educating clients on diagnoses, medications, coping skills, and life management are the foundations to restoring feelings of stability.

Marci treats a variety of conditions; ADHD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. She believes in the use of psychopharmacological interventions and psychotherapeutic interventions together to best manage conditions.

A psychiatric NP is an advanced practice Registered Nurse who specializes in psychiatry with years of training and experience in the branch of medicine devoted to the diagnosis, prevention, study, and treatment of mental health disorders. Unlike psychologists, NPs must evaluate patients to determine whether their symptoms are the result of a physical illness, a combination of physical and mental ailments, or strictly psychiatric.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. They are avid board/card game lovers; enjoy kayaking, movies, sporting events, and live music. She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the Neuroscience Education Institute.
